The Edmonton Oilers Foundation’s Auction raises $99,000. The Foundation sold high-end items from around the arena in advance of the team’s move to Rogers Place. Net proceeds of the auction support the EOCF, founded in 2001, who donate over $2.5M annually to Edmonton charities who focus their activities on youth, education, and health & wellness. This year’s auction marketplace saw a total of $98,923.54 from all auctioned items. Included were a number of mementos such as: an artistic rendition of the banners that once hung proudly above the ice, which displays the success of the historic Oilers franchise.
