Connor McDavid is generating big numbers both on and off the ice. In November 2016, the Edmonton Oilers auctioned off 2 of NHL scoring leader McDavid’s game-worn jerseys via the NHL Auction marketplace site, powered by Commerce Dynamics Auction Marketplace solutions, with all net proceeds going to charity.
The first jersey, worn during the 2016 Heritage Classic game between the Edmonton Oilers and Washington Capitals, sold by auction for $10,671.66, with proceeds benefitting the NHL’s Hockey Fights Cancer campaign. The second, worn during a game versus the Dallas Stars in support of the Edmonton Military Family Resource Centre as part of the NHL’s Military Appreciation campaign, was purchased on auction for $13,005.00 . That’s over $20,000 raised for charity by the NHL Auction marketplace in the month of November alone!
Will Connor McDavid:
a) Reach the 100 point plateau this season
b) Raise $100k for charity via memorabilia auctions
